AL-ANON AND ALATEEN IN NEW MEXICO AND EL PASO

If you are looking for help because you are affected by another person's drinking, you are in the right place.

Al-Anon's purpose is to help families and friends of problem drinkers. The Al-Anon Program is a non-professional anonymous fellowship of equals based on the Twelve Steps adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous.  We come together to share our experience, strength and hope to solve our common problems.  We are a spiritual program based on no particular form of religion.  Anyone whose life has been affected by another person's drinking is welcome.

Discover the Power of the 12 Steps

Step 1: We admitted we were powerless over alcohol—that our lives had become unmanageable.

Embrace the reality of your situation and find the courage to move forward.

Believe in the possibility of change and the power of a supportive community.

Step 3: Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

Trust in a higher power and the strength it provides to overcome challenges.
